We are so excited to share with you that we now have nitro cold brew, kombucha, and carbonated water on tap at our Rockford Cafe!
We are serving our very own nitro cold brew that we make using our Nineteen Nineteen Blend. You might be thinking what is the difference between cold brew and nitro cold brew? The only difference is that we infuse the cold brew with nitrogen and pull it from a tap just like beer is commonly served. We love what nitrogen adds to our cold brew- a nice velvety and creamy texture.
For our kombucha we are serving Lively Up and the flavor is currently Lovin’ Lavender! Lovin' Lavender is a crisp, sharp, yet light lavender kombucha made to resemble floral essences and aroma. We hand blend this brew using the highest quality lavender, rose petals and hibiscus flowers in an effort to support calmness and peace within.
We will be using the carbonated water we now have on tap to serve with our espresso based drinks as a palate cleanser. It will also be available to purchase by the glass because if your anything like me I love carbonated water!
To celebrate our 100 years of being in business we are doing a customer appreciation day at our Plainfield location! Thanks to you we have been able to be in business for a century. There is nothing more exciting as a kid than Easter morning. All the anticipation and buildup of an Easter egg hunt was almost unbearable. Whether the hunt for the eggs was inside or outside (which is a tossup here in Michigan) you just could not wait to spot that first egg!

We love creating a new signature drink menu every season for you. It is a lot of hard work and preparation behind the scenes to come up with new and noteworthy drinks each season. But it is so worth it when you hear a customer say "this is my new favorite drink!" To that we say we could not be more stoked to share with you our winter menu. Shown in the picture above is our Moonlight Matcha - We cold steep milk with blue jasmine tea sourced from Rishi for 24 hrs to create this stunning and tasty drink. The end result is a fragrant and sweet jasmine milk topped off with matcha. Peep the rest of our winter drink line-up below!

The Holiday Season is all about traditions to us at Sweetland's. Every year we retrofit our kitchen to make candy canes for two days. It is a family affair with Mom, Dad, and Son working together to make handmade candy canes. We suggest starting a new tradition with Sweetland's candy canes by bringing them home to surprise the family or loved one. Or heck just to eat one while your watching a Christmas movie. They are available in cherry and peppermint and available for purchase at both of our retail locations.
